Even in 2024, I'm still struggling to read foreign languages.
Born in 1988, 2024 sounds incredibly futuristic to me, a year in which it feels like all texts should be perfectly translated.
So, I created a site where you can read anything written in any language.
This site, where this text is written, is called Evame.
Evame aims to allow people all over the world to read articles written by anyone in any language.
Translations are displayed in parallel.
Translations are saved, and if you click on a translation, you can vote for it or add to it.
If this is repeated, a perfect translation may be possible someday.
Originally, I started making it because I wanted to translate Buddhist books, but I'm having difficulty organizing the Pali original data, so the program came first.
It's still full of bugs and in beta, but I feel like I've created something quite interesting.
The source code is below, and we are looking for bug reports and program cooperation.
