Jump Review [2025: Issue 51]Yyabsing11/17/2025 The weekend was tennis → drinking. I was tired the next day and while I was sleeping, the horse races ended, and I managed to avoid losing. Safe. I'll write my Jump review. Table of Contents: Witch Module Ichi Sumwan Akane Bachi HimaTen Kozukegawa DOLL SHOWS Ao no Hako Nige Waka Nue Postscript Witch Dolly was unexpectedly the enemy. The way this chapter started was pretty good, wasn't it? I don't know the effects of the curse, but it's good that the main characters are properly affected. I didn't really like the battle development in this manga, but this time it looks like it could be really interesting depending on how it's set up, so I'm looking forward to it. Module As expected, problems arose with Karyan involved. I think Karyan is probably a cursed spirit, so maybe it was a misidentification. So far, they haven't fought cursed spirits yet. Also, when Karyan died, does only one tear fall from the third eye? I'm curious about that. There's a possibility it's fabricated. However, I think what they want to do is come to terms with an existence that they can't coexist with. The structure of Karyan = cursed spirit, with Mahito at the top, seems the most unreasonable. It would be amazing if they could neatly wrap things up after setting up such a situation. Ichi Even with Desucaras involved, it doesn't feel like an easy win. Even though it's only around the 7th volume, the enemies have become quite strong. Kizashi has 200 units left, which seems pretty bad. Also, the fact that there were reinforcements on the anti-world side is scary. There's no guarantee that there won't be new reinforcements on the Jixirohne side either. Sumwan Cute. Akane Kaisei, who has been in a good position all along but hasn't been explored much, seems like he's about to be explored. I'm looking forward to it. It's also getting exciting that Akane isn't the only one chasing Shiguma's art. In a way, the upcoming battle with Kaisei is like a proxy war for Shuguma's entire life. Bachi Too hype!! Being able to see Hakuri and Shiba's activities at a good pace, and then the main attraction vs. FuchiTen & Hisou, can only lead to expectations. Although it's unlikely, the match-up itself is easily the last battle. It's good how the scene switches to the outside from where it was reversed, from being protected by the underground barrier to being trapped. The feeling of liberation after Shiba's appearance, without a break, from the feeling of confinement that I felt from the unfavorable development for the faction I was empathizing with was great. I'm too excited for next week too. The fact that they always direct this kind of foreshadowing in the best possible way is one of Bachi's good points. HimaTen Sorry, but I like Kanna without her hair done. I'm a little sad that there weren't many strange noises this week other than when Kanna went 'kaaan'. Kozukegawa I realized this week when Yobuko came up that Kozukegawa is a place name in Saga... Speaking of Yobuko, it's a port town in Saga where squid is delicious (my grandparents' house is nearby, and my grandfather would buy squid in Yobuko every time I went to visit. It's seriously delicious). The enemy wizard doesn't seem to be a Saga place name, so it might be a coincidence, but maybe it's actually a Saga PR manga. Karatsu, Imari, and Ureshino will probably appear eventually. Also, this time the enemy's ability is too much like Shigechi. DOLL SHOWS It was pretty good. It feels a little weak to see in serialization, and I feel like it would get fans like Artificial Human 100, but it wouldn't grow to its full potential. But it's really good to see as a one-shot. The setting was good, and I guess I like collecting things related to myself scattered around in various places (at least when reading it as a one-shot). I really liked the Bone Collection one-shot, and also, talking about light novel anime, Coffin Princess Chaika and Ao no Hako. Hina's words were straightforward and good. But this just makes Hina even more pitiful. Kyoji is the enemy, he can't meet Hina's expectations, and both of her best friends are just cornering Daiki. Only the middle school senior is on her side. It's too hard for Hina. But Hina... you're shining. Nige Waka It's the end, and the story of the weight of parting at that time is kind of sad. It's actually a farewell for life for the characters. And finally, we've reached the year of Tokiyuki's death in the historical record. At the end of the last volume, he said something like, "It will continue longer than you all think," so it seems like it will continue for about the rest of the year... What are they going to do from here? At least there will be a story about children. There seem to be various legends about Tokiyuki's children, so it will be interesting to see which ones he chooses and how he turns them into a story. Also, it's really late to say this, but Tokiyuki's sword is Onimaru Kunitsuna. It's Hinomaru Sumo. Nue Reiseki is participating in gags too much before raising his status. Well, so are the other Abyssal. But this development... I'm surprised because I didn't think they would make the sports festival this chaotic. Why are both camps and all forces gathered? Postscript There's not much to say this week. I've spent my time other than writing the introduction on video production, sleeping, and watching YouTube, so I'm being recommended Gnosia from all over the place, so I'm thinking of finally dedicating some time to that. That's all for this week, see you next week~50ENCommentslogin and startStartpost
