Jump Review [2025: Issue 2]Yyabsing12/8/2025 I bought 'Heaven is With Us' to properly read Modulo. Before that, 'The Human History of the Sea' was so difficult that I couldn't make any progress, and I was sadly realizing that I'm really bad at reading books, but I'm starting to realize that 'The Human History of the Sea' was just too difficult. 'Heaven is With Us' doesn't require that much specialized knowledge, and the amount of text is small, so I think I'll be able to finish reading it relatively quickly. I'll write a Jump review. Table of Contents: Samuwan, One Piece, Modulo, Akane, Ichi, Witch, Nige Waka, Ao no Hako, RoboKoba, Himate, Nue, Postscript Samuwan This week is good too. Nacchi is doing a good job as a supporting character, which is helpful. I wonder if it was really a joke that he only shoots what he wants to shoot. One Piece In this flashback, Dom Revershi is the root of all evil. I think the past arcs until now have served the role of building up the hate for the enemy to be defeated in this series, but this time it's Im-sama, so it feels like it's finally the final chapter. I wonder if Harald couldn't openly say this fact because he didn't want to worsen the relationship between the government and the giant race? Is that why Loki was getting the short end of the stick? Modulo I feel irony in the fact that an airplane is flying between the two's decisive panels at the end. The hour or so until Yuka arrives in Tokyo is Shin's time limit, so the airplane panel is directing that the gong has rung, but it also seems to show that things will proceed regardless of how the battle between Shin and Maru goes. As I wrote in the foreword, 'Heaven is With Us' has arrived, so I started reading it, and the author's assertion that 'war is not a fundamental solution' immediately came up. It seems intentional that the story is unfolding in the exact opposite direction. Also, stories like 'The fact that essential problems are not reported, and only the facts of armed conflict are made known to the world is also a problem' and 'Indifference is a disease' are also coming up, and in the sense of first exposing these difficult problems to the public eye, I thought that Modulo was a manga drawn because of this book. Returning to the story of Modulo itself, Shin's lines were also the best, especially 'Could you leave?' 'Leave' 'Get out', the area of entrusting the judgment to the other party is gradually narrowing. At first, he was trying to have a proper dialogue, but since both of them have already decided on a conclusion, it can't be helped, and I feel like it's a way of saying that no one wants to fight from the beginning. It was also good that Maru didn't try to make eye contact at all during the dialogue. Knowing that he is the only one trapped in the role of a warrior, he can only live that way. I had always thought that Cross was more belligerent and that Cross was the one refusing to talk, but it was good that the impression there was reversed. Maru wasn't an endlessly cheerful and positive guy, but he was just acting that way as a warrior. Akane Isn't this overdoing it for a lifetime? However, this time was also incredibly powerful. The way the acts were presented and the ink painting-like direction were cool. In a broad sense, the story of factions on how to interpret and perform Rakugo may be the main focus from now on. Ichi I didn't really like Gokuraku, but he looked like a good character in the last part of this week. I'm looking forward to him playing an active role in a cool way. This series is trying to give all the main characters a chance to shine, which is typical of shonen manga. Witch I knew Momochi was going to do something. Does the familiar become a Warlock too? Measures have been taken this week, so it may not be questioned, but even in such a serious episode, Kansi is doing his job, which is great. Nige Waka Tokiyuki dies in this year, but will the story make it so that he died as he wished? Honestly, I thought there might be an ending where he escaped like the Tale of Yoshitsune, but it doesn't seem like that will happen. Ao no Hako Saki is being wrapped up nicely, but as a guy, I feel like 'what's with this guy?' I think he's being indecisive, but Ayame, end this battle by kissing him to show him off. RoboKoba There's no choice but to have the person draw it himself! I always like these unorthodox tactics. Bachi The Shindachi Batou is too hot. I understand Yu's motives, but isn't he too strong for someone who was nothing? What is it that allowed him to undo the 10-year seal in 3 years and compete with the Kannabi main force on his own? If Yu was really nobody, is there someone pulling the strings behind the scenes? (Or does the fact that it was a small country's territory have something to do with it?) Himate I'm glad I could confirm Pime this week. What's with treating Kanna's thing as not a confession? Nue In a normal manga, Nagetsuki would have become a companion and then immediately had the last development of this episode. I was shown a hallucination of a sports festival for some reason, but I feel the loneliness after the festival. Postscript Have you read the latest volume of World Trigger? I'm shocked that they're trying to move a number of characters that's incomparable to previous series. There were a lot of characters during the large-scale invasion, but one way or another, the characters' intentions themselves weren't that varied. There was the trouble between Hyuse and Enedra between wanting to protect and wanting to take away, but this time it's beyond that, and it's also dangerous that they're putting out numbers and rules so much that they're creating a system where readers can see whether they're making really rational judgments. I'm too excited for the continuation. Also, I went to a creative cafe to work for the first time in a while, but the customer turnout was better than the last time I went. I used to have the shallow idea of starting a cafe like this because I hated working so much, but if the customer turnout that day was as good as this time, I might have misunderstood and started it. That was dangerous. That's all, see you next week~10ENCommentslogin and startStartpost
